I would like to upgrade the speakers with tearing out the head unit and adding amps. I used a RTA to analyze the crossover to the tweeter and it is around 2.5 KHz. I listened to the Audison Voce AVK6's (component 6.5's) and really like them. They have a passive crossover of 2.5KHz and sensitivity of 91 dB. Understanding that they won't play very loud or be optimized without a good amp, do you think they will sound considerably better than the stock speakers? Also, the Infinity Kappa's but they do not specify the crossover and I suspect it is higher than 2.5 and may be damaged in the current set-up. Any other suggestions?
