Fully aware of the EGR circuit issues... not sure if that is still a thing on the 2015's after the changes to the engine Toyota made (pistons/rings, etc)?

What mileage do ya'll recommend cleaning the EGR? I've changed the transmission fluid around 95k miles, have a dealer app't for coolant changes, anything else I am missing?

100k at the latest, 50k thereafter, like the engine coolant change interval, if you want to synch. Coolant spill can be very controlled though; see second link in my signature.

    every 50k would be optimum.

    Yup.

I’ve finally talked myself into 12 months or 5k miles. Only putting on 3~4K kilometres per year.

I've wondered if anyone has done a study to compare ICE engines with hybrid's with our numerous start/stop cycles...if that shortens the life of the engine by causing extra wear-and-tear. If it wasn't a Toyota engine, I'd be changing the oil every 3,000 miles (which is what I do for my kids non-Toyota vehicles.) I know the Ford engines that have the stop/start technology don't last nearly as long at Toyota's.
