Has anybody that purchased a Prius V in Canada encountered the speedometer not being able to convert from miles to km when travelling to and from the USA. We have been in discussion with Toyota who said that the 2017 Prius V sold in Canada were sold for use in Canada only and although the button is there, it is not connected to anything. Toyota doesn't really seem to think there is a problem. We travel to the USA and have not got a speedometer that converts. Anybody else have that issue or is it something specific to our vehicle? We previously owned a 2004 and when we bought our new one were told that the 2017 had more features than the previous one. Nothing in the manual says that it does or does not convert. Seems Toyota doesn't think it is an important issue. We want a replacement vehicle. They have procrastinated and are now telling us the vehicle is almost 2 years old (we got it Dec 2016), have less than 20000 km.. and have been in discussion with them since early 2017..they are offering a new vehicle at cost with a trade in of our current 2017 and we have to pay 50% of the difference??????? YOUR THOUGHTS..
Hello! We are dealing with the same issue. May I ask, who is offering the 50% of the difference--the dealer or Toyota? Thanks!
