I have a 2018 Prius with the slot above the mirror for my garage remote. Since I live in a very hot climate, the remote gets very hot and may fry if left in the car. Is there an add on accessory to purchase so I can use a code to enter my garage instead of using these old remotes?
If you search for “Homelink” or “Gentex Auto dimming mirror”, that can get you started in the right direction. The easiest is to add the mirror that has Homelink functionality.
