Howdy All, My excitement is probably similar to that of many other folks here. Back in 1993, our university student environmental group set up an exhibit of the "alternative" fueled cars of that time: a home-conversion electric car, a home-conversion hydrogen-burning pickup truck, a natural gas fueled vehicle, and a methanol-burning race car. From 2005-2008, I was founder and chair of a local energy-efficiency fair and solar homes tour. Along the way, I've owned a few light electric vehicles (electric bikes and electric scooters), and I also rode a 90 MPG gas-burning Vespa-type scooter for several years. I've been wanting a cleaner-fuel car for 25 years, and now I finally have one. I'm a huge fan of my new Prius Prime, and also of the other hybrid and plug-in vehicles. I look forward to learning from this forum.
Welcome. I'm betting with your background in alternative energy vehicles you have a lot to contribute to this forum, but I guess even the most knowledgeable still have more to learn.
