The fake leather manual driver seat in the 2019 Prius XLE AWD-e is unbearably uncomfortable. The biggest problem is how short it is. I have read the threads on extending the seat but that seems kind of wonky. Not that I want to invest more in this car but Is it possible to replace the seat with a salvaged seat from another model Toyota (like Camry, Avalon, RAV4)? The seats are heated, too. Thanks for any input.
I'll agree - front seats are poor - rest of car is great. No idea of a solution, though. Maybe a pair of RECAROs or similar?
welcome! unfortunately, this is a common complaint from a minority of owners. yes, it is possible, but it's not a straightforward switch. there are threads here from people who have done camry, volvo and etc. but you have to deal with fabrication for bolt locations, and airbag wiring. unless you can diy, talk to some custom shops for pricing, and maybe an upholstery shop for some more economical alternatives. all the best!
