2020 XLE - Can't connect to NPR ONE or iHeart radio with Android phone.

Toyota is apparently in the process of condensing all of it's phone apps - Entune, the Toyota App, and the Scout GPS Link app - into one. I'm told it will be the basic Toyota App. When they eliminated the entune app recently, some of the apps on my car screen stopped working. Called and was told I needed to delete the Entune app, then sign back into the Toyota app. But the NPR1 and IHeart Radio apps won't open unless I also sign into THEM. So I've done that, and they still just won't connect. So frustrating! I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S9+, which is Android.
