so car comes with android auto do i need to get a specific cable for my phone to plug into car to pull up apps on monitor or does this work via bluetooth. example google maps, youtube etc... I already connected my phone for calls etc if I nned a cable is it just the same as a usb charging cable or does it need to be different
The standard USB-C charging & data cable should work fine; plugged into the USB connector - next to your cigarette lighter jack. Some USB cables are for charging ONLY - it must be able to carry data too... If your not sure, plug it into a computer to see if you can read data off your phone's drive.
