It tops out higher than Ioniq5, EV6 and bZ4X but cheaper than the mid-range Mach-E Premium ER AWD ($72k CAD). Battery size is closer to Mach-E ER (87 net vs the Ford’s 91kWh net).
It makes sense that their many years of selling the Leaf has turned into something more upscale... But I still don't understand why they'd leave the Miata fans out of the loop? Why not at least sell a conversion kit since so many are doing it DIY style? And beyond that an electric Miata could probably compete with the fastest electric cars ever built if Nissan set their mind to it.
Looks like the priciest & w/AWD feature only gets $265 Mi range. Doubtful that will scare the competition. Don't see it in that article is it safe to be presuming Nissan has finally gotten with the program with water-cooled traction packs? .
