So I thought I'd at least price tpms for the winter tires... $67-75 each sensor.... but Ontario dealers tell me they're backordered. Weeks, maybe months. Supposedly Quebec dealers have them... anyone have any leads?
From what I've read people have programmed them easily. It's in the owner's manual. the trick for me would be getting the sensors

Could it be that winter tires are mandatory in Québec not in Ontario sorry for the double post, the chat is acting very strange
AFAIK TPMS sensors are not mandatory, anywhere in Canada. Your Questions Answered: Tire pressure and TPMS sensors | Driving
I think you are right , but since winter tire are mandatory in Québec , a lot of consumer also buy extra wheels and want TPMS
Yeah I believe with advent of 5th gen if you DIY swap between the snows and all-seasons the car recognizes the different sensors (maybe requires one initial introduction?)? No such luck with 3rd gen. I just replaced snow tires (and upgraded their rims), and once again waived sensors, on our '10. You forget the light quickly.
