Hello, I have a 2006 Prius that I bought it for $350. I drove it about 10k miles then took the power steering out and put it in my 1966 Dodge Van. It still moves (back and forth) and I want to take the drive train and power another car with it. Questions..... Are the MG1 and MG2 motors AC or DC???? I assumed they were AC, but I saw somewhere they were DC motors. This is probably unknown.....but Has anyone tried using the car in EV mode without an engine? My goal is just to power a 1965 Karmann Ghia the .5 mile round trip to work and back. Obviously, charging the battery will be an issue, but I think I can make that work without an engine.
