Just had the dealer do the 30k service last week and yesterday turned best mpg of 152.9; doing 1173 miles on 7.67 gallons, 722 miles - 61%ev; 450 miles 39%hv; 140 kwh and fuel saved by chg 11.7g.

I guess it's time to voice my opinion that this vehicle has been reliable and efficient, even on out of town trips.

Have not had any problems, defects or warranty items.

It's a fun car to drive and I enjoy trying to keep driving at a high efficiency. Even wife is now tolerant of slow acceleration and driving technique, prefacing requests with "I don't want to ruin your mpg, but...." and accepts when I get an Eco-Nerd trophy from the Entune app.

Had a 240v evse installed at end of 2013 and that has made a difference in amount of ev trips car can make in a day, as it only takes 1:10 to recharge now instead of 2:10.

Hope everyone else is enjoying their Pip and having a great summer.

Make sure to post your picture in the Top 20 MPG thread. You will be pretty high up there.

thanks.... okey okey :) ... its solar power plant on roof with enough power on top to charge PIP battery ... In our country we had very nice support from goverment/ E. union /like 50% for houses which is reasonable/ ;)) .. I will stay with word free, as I paid for it for different reassons already filling its purposes + filling PIP batteries should be just "free" bonus on top:) But, lets forget about PIP. I will stick with Prius3gen for several years, than switch to PIP.
