LOVE my Prius... at 3K the check engine light came on, dealership checked and said...probably a speck of carbon, it's burnt off, shouldn't have a problem...at 4k check engine came on again... seems we are running on 3 cylinders and all four fuel injectors need replacing...thank heavens for warranty work!! anybody else have this problem..?? got 68 miles to a gallon for two hours on vacation!! cool... musta been the 3 cylinders... thanks!! I don't think I've even seen anything go by on any of the forums about someone needing new injectors, i.e. the ones chosen for the rius seem to have been rock-solid reliable over the long haul. Except possibly as part of the occasional "oops, I pumped in diesel" stories. It seems fairly unlikely that a car at 4K would need *four* new ones unless something *really* wretched happened with your fuel supply... . _H*
Did the OP pour some cr@p.... I mean, use one or more of the many fine fuel additives before the injectors failed?
