i don't understand how websites who specialize in hybrid cars can write such foolish and nonsensical click bait. did i answer my own question?
According to this article ; Wouldn't a 3kW charge rate mean that there's no time left to actually drive anywhere - much less get your 8 hrs of sleep? .
Understood - & that's the 1st 4hrs of the day. But 3 more times? That's 12 more charging hours. That only leaves 8hrs of driving time & no time for anything else ... but I guess if you're eating in the car - shaving - washcloth bathing in the car, you could do it ... or you could do all that & empty your catheter / eat shave etc while you're charging. Anyway you slice it, that makes for quite the harsh 24/7. If he had a Tesla, the charge time would theoretically be over 35x faster - requiring less charge stops & less time plugged in overall. That leaves me with two conclusions (2nd one is just humor so beware) . #1 this is the kind of non-standard driving cycle that would lend itself to one of the newer 200+ mile ev's that will soon be available. .... or #2 Toyota was right - these cars truly are for "people that have 4 hours to kill" .... even several times a DAY no less. .
