i ordered a base Prius 2013 last week from my local dealer. I'm in Ontario, Canada. Agreed on about $1000 off list price, which dealer claims is now $500 above his cost. This agrees with online research i've done (may or may not be accurate). Paid $255 extra for white, so i can decorate with my company graphics. He said to hurry up, as there's only 3 white ones left in Ontario, and they can't order 2013's from the factory any more, in anticipation of the 2014. So i did - signed papers thursday evening. Today, dealer called to say that there are no more white ones in ontario. i can either get a silver one or pay $500 to ship a white one from Montreal. Am i getting bs'ed by the dealer?
I paid MSRP and the dealer wanted $1000 for shipping from Winnipeg, which we agreed for $750. That was the only one available BP technology package end of MY 2011. I am happy with it, I've got exactly what I wanted. You set your priorities.
