I did a successful upgrade from a 57010 to 57011. I still have the 57010 unit in the basement. If you upgrade to 57011, You need to make sure that you get the expansion box and the cable that goes between the main box and the expansion box. Junkyards love to just cut all of the cables off the back. You also need to buy the GPS and Sat Radio antennas. I bought a generic GPS antenna on eBay for $18. I didn't bother with Sat Radio.
