I'm trying to find 5mm connectors that look like these:

In the SAE world, we can find 0.250 width connectors but I need a 5mm, 0.194-0.197" width connector. A cheap part, I'm not having any luck with my various Google searches nor the web sites of AutoZone, NAPA, and Granger. Looking for metric parts in Huntsville, AL, USA . . . well no luck, yet.

As a workaround, I can take my Dremil tool and trim it down but this also wipes out the protective coating on the side I trim.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Bob Wilson

The 5mm connector is a 3/16 inch connector in the SAE world.

They are standard and widely available; just search 3/16 inch.

They are commonly used in seal lead acid battery connectors. I have a good supply of them and any good electronics store will stock them.

There is also an 1/8 inch connector that is commonly used in mini-low voltage dc motor leads.
