Is the A/C compressor in the GenII Prius variable speed? I am wondering if when A/C Auto is set to ON, is the compressor running only at the speed it needs to match the load, or is it running at 100% with the hot water heating coil reheating the air (which is good for dehumidification). I don’t see any reference to this in the operator’s manual.
