So a cold front came through about 2:00 AM and I was surfing a BMW forum when there was a flash and bang ... and the power went out. After 30 seconds, our natural gas fired generator came on; the lights came on; the TV and internet ... and I am typing this note. In the past, I would have started our Prius, turned on the inverter, and run extension cords to lights and the furnace. Tonight, there was a brief pause and automatically, we're powered up again. If it weren't for an experiment, the BMW i3-REX would be charging. Bob Wilson
