Glad to see Sam Harris granted space in Newsweek. His books: "The End Of Faith" and "Letter To A Christian Nation" should be required reading for all elementary school children. "Believing that God has delivered you unto the presidency really seems to entail the belief that you cannot make any catastrophic mistakes while in office." We were attacked by an enemy he didn't see coming, even though he'd been warned repeatedly.... Oooopsie! He diverted resources into Iraq when it had nothing to do with those who attacked us.... Oooopsie! He invaded Iraq to prevent the U.S. from being A-bombed, even though he'd been told there were no weapons of mass destruction there.... Oooopsie! He send a fraction of the troops into Iraq that were requested by the generals on the ground.... Oooopsie! He turned the largest budget surplus in history into the largest deficit.... Oooopsie! He failed to prepare for or react to a predicted catastrophic hurricane.... Oooopsie! He posted instructions in Arabic on the internet on how to build an A-bomb.... Oooopsie! If there is a God, He must be really mad at the entire U.S. since He delivered us such an incompetent leader.
