A ship touched in at a small island whose only inhabitant was a hermit. The hermit welcomed the visitors and gave them a tour of the island, on which he had constructed four rustic buildings. "This is my house, where I live. That is my storehouse, where I keep my few belongings and some coconuts so I can have a snack when I don't feel like venturing into the jungle. And over there is my church." He fell silent, so the ship's captain asked him, "What about that other building? What's that?" "Oh, that," replied the hermit, "that's the church I used to go to."
This hermit... was he living there intentionally, or was he like a ship wrecked sailor? Cause if the latter, then i'd say he made the right choice in switching churches - obviously his old one didn't bring the rescue he was praying for!
