I found the EPA data file ( 2022 FE Guide for DOE release dates before 9-16-2021-no-sales -9-14-2021public.xlsx) for EVs and noticed this: Batt Specific Energy (Watt-hr/kg) 159.0 153.5 153.5 141.3 140.4 171.0 171.0 171.0 171.0 264.0 264.0 132.0 140.9 140.9 169.0 169.0 156.0 156.0 Someone at Lucid has just earned a Nobel Prize. Here is the link: 2022 Datafile There are some other anomalies such as the list of the 240 VAC charge times that remains constant across all Lucid vehicles. Bob Wilson
Upon further investigation, I plotted this data: Apparently the Lucid has twice the battery of the other EVs. This explains their range but they also managed to optimize rolling, aerodynamic, and drive train efficiencies. Well done. My earlier posting appears to be a typo. Bob Wilson
