Prior to the last site upgrade, when you quoted a posting you only quoted the last contributor to a posting (to the best of my recollection). If he(she) was quoting someone, that was stripped out. With the new method, I believe it's (up to) 3 levels of quotes are retained. I can see that being useful, improves context, sometimes. But just my personal experience, I find nine times out of ten I'm going in, manually cutting out the multi-level quotes, because they're not relevant, in the way, and so on. Just food for thought for the next upgrade? A button that allows you to quote just the top level of a quote intensive posting?
