(I have no idea why the first generation forum is hidden, but it is clearly unloved by the powers that be) However reality is that this is a premier site about all alternate vehicle choices. It would be great if those folks were able to specify the car they owned even if it was some other Toyota or Ford Hybrid, Leaf, Volt, or Tesla. (there will always be an other category, if only to hold Dodge Durango Hybrid owners and any actual Saturn Vue Two-mode owners) Folks in this thread are bemoaning the lack of a way to have a 2013 Toyota Avalon Hybrid as choice in a user's profile. I think OP presented a very good list. I would however exclude Diesels since they are not electrified vehicles.
More vehicles such as the Leaf, Volt and Tesla have been added to the database for use in ones profile.
Just thinking about it, well since I saw a new user sign up owning one and have to chose other EV, Danny never added the RAV 4 EV to the list... Maybe that can be fixed when time allows for it?
While I don't see much reason to populate the choice list with lots of diesel models, it would seem nice to at least be able to show fuel type, e.g. 'other (diesel)', 'other (CNG)', and at some point in the future, 'other (hydrogen)'.
