I will be getting my kenwood 7160 installed coming Tuesday. This has only Backpanel usb and A/V input and i am planning to route cable to have it some where where i can connect to IPOD, other mp3 player/smart phone or USB device. Glove box is obviously the easiest location but I am looking a place accessible from driver seat. I most likely will be using Music over Bluetooth or ipod (which will have on screen control) so it is not a real big deal but has any body routed wire to center console. Even a better question has any body able to create a USB jack in the same area where aux in installed? Can existing aux in be used with audio out of after market system? Looking to suggestion I am looking to create 3.5 mm stereo, 3.5 mm mono and USB jack.
