I have a 2007 Prius. When I start the vehicle a vibration comes from the front of the vehicle. It starts as a big vibrational noise an then reduces to a little "hum Humm Hum" sound. It occassionaly diappears and comes again. This happens irrespective of engine is on or off. Can the inverter make this noise due to any fault? I noticed that my inverter coolant level is very low. Can this be a cause to this problem? And I want to fill the inverter coolant. Can you please tell me an alternative to Toyota Super Long Life Coolant? Preferably from the brands BP or Mobil? Thank you in advance for your advice..
The inverter won't make that sort of noise, but the inverter pump will. Get the coolant level back up to where it belongs, and use the real stuff from Toyota. Tom
