I know this isn't a Prius issue, but I found this story a little bizzare: Toyota Recall: Electronic Design Flaw Linked to Toyota Runaway Acceleration Problems, Expert Says - ABC News Some professor of automotive tech jury-rigged a Toyota to accelerate using extraordinary means, and claims that the cars (a lot of them) are defective because they can fail in the same way. Right. This smacks of the Pinto bomb concocted by NBC and the exploding pickup created by ABC some years ago. When you can't make a car fail on it's own, rig it so you can sell some commercials.
