Hey guys, Long time lurker, first time poster. A friend of mine bought a 2010 Prius yesterday and the ABS light came on this morning. I live in WA state and she lives in Cleveland, and doesn't have anyone to help her out locally. The selling dealer (car lot, yuck) says "it's probably just a sensor" and they will 'fix' it on Monday. But by the looks of this car lot I'm thinking yeah right. It was sold AS-IS so she knows that he's not obligated to fix anything. Can anyone recommend a good Toyota mechanic in the Cleveland area? She may just take it to the dealer. Thanks!
It's reasonable to suggest that ABS issue is an easy sensor fix... Autobeyours.Com is a 100 miles SouthWest of Cincinnati in Indiana and they probably have a good sense of a reliable mechanic in Cleveland. Because this problem is not related to hybrid part of the car, there's going to be more options than usual.
