Hey everyone, so I made a big mistake....I thought I was having a issue with my brakes because I was getting a light on my dash when I was pushing on the brakes(ended up being the hill climb feature). So I asked my friend to put it on his big snap on scanner and he ran a few and tests which caused my car to throw communication codes C1203 C1336 C1345 C1392 So I made a problem where there was none.... I have techstream but I have a older version and I’m running it through a virtual box on my old laptop so the screen is very small and hard to see/click on all functions. I know I need to recalibrate the brakes but I can’t figure out where the function is or if I can even get to it on my version of tech stream...any help is appreciated!
Have you tried to disconnect the 12 volt battery for a bit to see if they return? What version of Techstream do you have?
I’ve tried disconnecting the negative on the 12v and also removing the negative and positive. Both times the codes came back on the second I started the car. I will check which version of techstream I have when I get home and post it.
I have an old laptop running version 10.30.028. I’m heading to Paso Robles tomorrow, but will be heading back home Sunday. If you need help, I might be able to stop by. No guarantees, but I’ll help if I can. Good luck and keep us posted .
If you could swing by and help that would be great! Yeah like I said I’m running techstream through a virtual box which cuts off a lot of functions on the screen!
Unfortunately I was passing through Fremont yesterday morning and the work week has begun. The easiest method if you are having trouble with your current setup is to source an old laptop from Craigslist . Then that laptops only purpose is to run Techstream . Good luck and keep us posted .
