2007, Out of no where the ac will go from blowing normal to barely blowing at all. No matter if it’s on low med or high You can hear the blower running but not pushing air Any idea what the problem is?
Most blower fans adjust the speeds with a "dropping resistor" which has multiple sections for the different speeds. That probably is the most common point of failure. The second is the fan motor itself. Damper flaps comes in a distant third......which is good because the labor to get TO them often is large.
NO. I think you should make a few tests to see exactly what the problem IS......instead of wasting money on parts you don't need. Paying a shop to diagnose the problem probably would be cheaper in the long run.
there are threads here on testing, repairing, replacing, if you can find them. or try googling, it might be quicker and easier.
