I am thinking of mounting my cell phone for use as a navigation device with a Scosche adapter attached to the driver's-side "quarter window," but that will require a long power cable to the 12V outlet under the center console. Has anyone added an outlet in the area to the left of the steering column near the instrument-panel dimmer? Where did you tap into a 12V line?
Easy to do. Check ebay or amazon for a USB socket for a Prius. I tapped into the fuze box to a spot that wasn't used. Like seat heaters....
