Can anyone confirm if there is a low fuel warning indication other than the blinking PIP? If so, in what screen will it display? Thank you
Yep. It'll be on the MFD. It's a bar at the top of the MFD that says "Add Fuel". It goes away after a few seconds.
The momentary 'Add Fuel" warning seems not well thought out to me. To see it you have to be either very lucky, or be staring at the MFD for long periods. What were the designers/programers thinking? IMHO, a better arrangement would be for the warning to stay lit until it was cancelled by some positive action by the driver. YMMV.
They were thinking you would be bright enough to spot that you have an empty fuel gauge with a blinking light... And the "add fuel" message, and start of blinking, is accompanied by a prominent beep. I wonder how people coped when they just had an analogue level gauge?
