Removed the console cover by releasing the 2 clips on the top, see the red arrows Removed the power socket (white plug) electrical connector. Removed the spare switch cover by depressing the 2 clips on the back of the cover. Slid the (black USB port) MICTUNING 12V/24V USB Type C Car Charger Replacement for Toyota, Dual USB Ports QC3.0 & PD Type C Car Power Socket (1.3''×0.9'') into the slot and connected one connector/wires to the Power Socket and the other connector/wires to the plug that was originally connected to the Power Socket. Then reinstalled the Console cover. No wire splicing needed.
