Hello, I got my Prius 2010 two days ago and I believe it has the 6 speaker setup. I have 4-channel amp. How do I connect the amp to the HU? Does the HU have RCA outputs? I would like to connect 2 channels to the front speakers and the other 2 channels bridge to the sub. Is this a good idea? Which sub would you recommend? Thanks
Welcome! I know my HU (6 speaker base) did not have RCA outputs but I am not sure about EU models. You are probably going to have to tap into the speaker wires. I ended up getting a power sub (Bass 1200) and I really like it. Of course my new HU had sub outputs.
Thanks for your reply. I guess I'll need some Line Output Converter to reduce the signal to the RCA levels? Where is the location of the crossover in the car, if there's any? Thanks again.
