I have a 2020 Prius LE AWD-e with 15" wheels and fog lights. Since I have the rear motor there is not much room under tha rear mat...is it worth carrying jumper cables or unlikely I would need them based on the tech? The only regret is I just earned there is a lumbar seat made for these but only in leather and electric. has anyone put an electric seat in a LR or does the entire subframe/track need to change? I also have been hearing there are seat covers that can both add lumbar and heating...anybody using any of these? I dont mind cloth and mechanical but I would like more lumbar? tia,
Tia, I have the same car, but my wife's red Subaru only came with a light interior so we had black leather with red stitching installed by an auto reupholstering shop and they added lumbar support. It came out great for about $1000. JeffD
I needed a new battery - and was left dead out in the middle of nowhere - with my 2019 last year. That strongly suggests that a 2020 should be carrying jumper cables, or the jump-pack that I had (thank goodness), right now for this year. Granted, this state is probably hotter than where you live, so your battery will prob last longer. But, yes, carry the cables if you aren't proactively switching out the starting battery. It is perhaps the most illogical thing to have a huge battery and not have an emergency start (I would have been happier with a derate to 35 MPH tops if the big battery started the car to allow me to get to a parts store) from that huge battery... but that's Toyota I guess.
