Hi guys I just ordered a 2010 Prius III. I am wanting to add fog lamps does anyone know if Toyota will install them? Also I live in Illinois in the country I am use to FWD Cars I am wondering if I should put snow tires on since I live in the country where it drifts? Also does the new traction control work better than the previous generation?
Fogs are not an option but you could get parts from Toyota and the dealer could install them for you for like $500. Or you can do it yourself for ~$130. In fact, the PriusChat shop is suppose to have a kit all ready to go sometime this month I believe. Here is a great video on traction control. You can decide for yourself. Even though those are the stock tires, I have studded snows and would recommend snow tires.
