    Hello,

My 05 was hit by a Sonata early last month when the driver (high school kid going shopping) decided to make 3 lanes shift at once.

There were damages on my passenger side fender and door, some paint scratches on the side mirror and quarter panel.

I took the car to a body shop and they fix both the door and fender (Overall they did a good job.)and I had to bring it back because they missed the quarter panel and the side mirror.

Due to the scratches on the side mirror molding, they are going to replace the side mirror next week. They also suggested that the small triangle window (the one right in front of the door) to be replaced due to scratches.

My concern is, if I decided to have them replace the front trangle window, will the new window not seal as well as the original?

In the past, I had to replace a windshield on my previous car and I was having condensation problems during winters after replacement.

Mind you, all these work doesn't cost me a penny, and the scratches on the small window doesn't bother me.

I am just wondering what the general consensus is as far as replacing the small window.

    Please advice.

    Thanks a bunch.

The improper fixing of a minor problem can lead to a bigger one later. If the guy knows what he's doing you won't have a problem.
