Dealer just didn't reset it. Very easy...

Get in the car. Press and hold the ODO button. While still holding it press the brake and then the Power button to go into "READY" mode.

Keep holding the ODO button and watch the odometer. It'll show some dashes or something (I've forgotten what, but it won't be the expected odometer reading).

Then it'll flash to the odometer reading and you have reset the maintainance alert for another 5k miles (ok, it'll start warning you at 4500).

Congrats, you're now smarter than the oil jockey at your dealer.
