I have a 2016 Prius 3 touring and in Michigan the seats are pretty cold as the temps drop. I am thinking about getting some aftermarket bun warmers installed. Not sure if I could do it myself. Local place wants $400 to install them. Anyone else had them installed or did it themselves?

You should be able to buy a strap-on cover with heat and massage for less than $50 or so or just heated for around $20. Here you go Wagan Tech 12-Volt Heated Seat Cushion 9738B at The Home Depot - Mobile I got it on sale for 7.99 and bought 2 of them.It gets warm very quickly and on high setting its really hot for those days when below zero degree.It was cheap and has no problem until today. Do they work ok with cloth seats? I saw some people say they did not work too well unless you had leather or vinyl.
Seat material shouldn't make a difference, the covers go on top of the seat, in direct contact with your butt.
