I'm on target for an NL then adding Leather to the car aftermarket. Interested in knowing if others have recently done this and what their comments are. I did it primarily due to the ability to select from over 40 different colors, perforated or not, and they warranty thier work for 5 years/100K miles. The location that will be doing the upholstery will also add heated elements and controls to the driver and passenger seats. All for $1800. Given the MSRP difference between NW and NL, the $1800 seemed appropriate as it catered to more choices and better warranty. As I have blogged earlier about a vinyl-free Prius, we have asked the shop to use a Non-woven Nylon upholstery with a Faux Leather finish for the trim of the seated instead of the Vinyl (where the Leather would not be placed.) Comments?
