About 4 years ago I installed a Viper aftermarket Remote start. Now the brake switch has gone out along with wiring chewed by rodent while sitting outside for 24 hours. To the point the car would not start. All fuses check out fine with exception of no voltage on the interior ECU fuse under the drivers dash. Fuse was fine but never could get any voltage on either side. Now dealer says the besides rodents the problem is the aftermarket remote start which is what caused the brake switch to go bad by shorting it. Of course, they want. to take it out. Does not make sense to me.
