I am thinking about getting these after market rims for my Prius c. My questions are this: Will they fit properly? Will the offset make the tires and rims sit flush or stick out too far? I'm looking for flush or something tucked inside the wheel well. Any suggestions or input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Brandon Here are the specs for the wheels: Front and Rear Size: 17x7 Offset: 42mm Backspacing: 5.62" Bolt Pattern: 4-100 Rec. Tire Size: 205/45-17 Weight: 21.2lbs. Finish: Black Painted Construction: 1 Pc Gravity Cast Finish Warranty: 1 Year Manufactured in Japan URL for rims: Enkei Performance GW8 Black Painted
Yes they'll fit just fine, however: *Based of the picture and assuming it's also a dual-pattern 4-lug, that specific Enkei requires "tuner lug nuts". Muteki, McGard, et al will be required to mount them *The wheel will be 1.24" more flush than stock, which is slightly aggressive given the tire size listed, however it shouldn't rub based on my fitment testing. *The heavier wheels & tires will cause some added harshness over bumps and potholes and will change NVH patterns *There are no low-rolling resistance tires in 205/45-17. Couple that with the 30mm addition of tire section width, and you'll be adding noticeable aerodynamic and rolling drag that will markedly affect fuel economy. This car is quite sensitive to tire changes in regards to fuel economy. Cheers, Ryan
