You are fortunate it is occasionally. Combine that with a suffering spouse with a similar issue and sometimes chaos ensues.
I thought AGS was American Goat Society. Since semi-retirement, I find myself neglecting shaves and mostly wearing my ripped and stained hike in the wilderness clothing. No Patagonia or North Face clothing for me. It's Hanes and Rustler (an old K-Mart brand). Got me in mild "trouble" though. Walked in my local Bi-Mart membership department store and the person at the service desk demanded I show my membership card. Been a member for 30-plus years. Never show my card on entry, neither do friends/family. But, living in the Seattle area the clothing does help when I am downtown. Combine it with the 1,000 yard stare I learned in my late teens and no one messes with me.
O.K. This Hobo look or AGS seems to be more of a male thing, though if I am going to be scrambling through poison oak or wrenching on an engine I can put forth a grubby appearance. But if if becomes a daily thing with my husband? Well I am sure most of you KNOW the LOOK he receives. kris
agreed, more women like the dress up thing, or simply 'put together'. i prefer comfort, and i wear the pants in the family! (although mrs b tells me which pair)
