Here's a question for you current owners (while we're nitpicking): I was wondering if the air recirculate stays on when you turn it on. Or does it decide you're too stupid to turn if off and turn if off for you when you shut the car off or change other settings. My Acura TL does nice little things like keep this thing turned on until you turn if off. I have seen some of the new Toyotas that keep turning off air recirculate. I want my air recirculated -- I have this thing about breathing car exhaust.
Auto mode determines this, though you can override (and once you do it's persistent). ECO mode's alteration of A/C output uses persistent recirculate if A/C is needed whereas normal or PWR modes may potentially use fresh air once the cabin is cooler.
