Yep. Apparently they're very stiff but yet somehow flexible (as shown in the first pic above). I suppose it's good in the way that you don't sacrifice comfort as they seem to absorb bumps pretty well. I just hope they don't need special rims like the PAX system.
Would at least reduce the poor gas mileage associated with underinflated tires which I believe to be rampant in the US.
The rim and tire is all 1 piece. I read about this a while ago when they came out. there was a post on here. Might have been posted and lost during our crash sessions though *shrug*
Do they offer them without Nitrogen? If you're going to get an airless tire, you might as well get the best and go for a Nitrogenless tire. Tom
