Do you guys keep up with Prius nonsense off of Prius chat at all have you seen all the businesses that have popped up in the last say year dealing with just a generation 3 and possibly four or anything with the two z z engine in it head gasket issue there's a guy in Indiana that'll do it while you wait I see another place to do it for $2,800 so on and so forth these two businesses are out in the midwest I haven't seen any of these antics going on on the east coast but I guess the head gasket issue is becoming a larger scale problem than folks thought quite interesting.
it has been a big issue around priuschat for years. what percentage of g3's have the problem is impossible to say.
We have 369 I believe it is on the 2010 JBL solar roof car that was the wife's car that was used all through the pandemic for all that delivery nonsense that's the only reason it got to that mileage It stayed in the wind 24/7 for 4 years We bought it I think with 160,000 from a college kid that it acquired it from his mother to go to school with I guess was in very reasonable shape very clean You should see it now
Solar roof keeps the inside cooler but it is only really helpful when you tap into it and modify it to charge your 12v That is what I did and now have a powered usb port that I can use when the car is OFF.
