Alternating between day/ night mode at dawn/dusk

    When it's dawn or dusk my display flips between night mode and day mode everytime I go under an overpass, it seems to stay in that mode for 10sec or so then switch back. Is there a way to change the delay for the infotainment center? I don't mind it flipping, but if it had a longer delay perhaps it would flip less.

    It doesn't seem to be directly tied to the headlights because my foglights will stay on (only on with headlights) even though the infotainment goes back to day mode. It's a minor nuisance.

    Anyone else having this "problem"?

    Happened to me a few times today. Rainy day, and under three separate overpasses the screen went to night mode. It did switch back fairly quickly. The light sensor on the dash appears to be pretty sensitive with no time delay. I have not found any setting on the vehicle or in Carista to change this delay.

    To avoid this, you can put your NAV screen in day mode and that will force it to stay in that mode. It's a clunky workaround. On the NAV display, Menu > Display > Day Mode.

    Agree. One of several minor flaws in a wonderful car. I never found a setting for a delay either. I've even had it go back to night mode in the early morning when it just went to day mode and I drive through a large shadow.
