Alternative roof rack bar lengths for Gen 3 Prius?

Hi folks...

I'm looking for a (probably) Thule or Yakima roof rack for our 2015 PiP. Looking at new and used. I came across an ad for a used Thule "wing bar" rack with 47-inch bars.

When I configure the Prius for new bars, the various websites come up with 50 and 53-inch bars, but, when looking at images of the 53-inch bars installed on a Prius, it looks like there very well might be an extra 3+ inches of overhang on each side, when using the 53-inch bars, making 47's a possibility?

Anyone using 47-inch bars? How about 50's? Or some other length?
