Bought a used red 2010 Prius III creampuff last night with 14.5k miles on it and an immaculate maintenance history. I did not get a great price but I think it was reasonable, and the car is immaculate. I drive 30,000 miles a year, so I expect this car to save me some money in the long run. I usually keep a car for 300,000 miles. That is, I usually keep Toyotas for 300,000 miles. My GM cars do not seem to last beyond 200,000 miles, although I currently have a 1994 Chevy Cavailer with 180k which looks like it has plenty of life left in it.
Congratulations a great buy. I too bought a used (demo) G3 III. Mine came with 5,000 miles and I now have 20,000 miles since last May. I continue to learn something new about this car's technology every day. One of the coolest features I discovered from PriusChat was "hill assist". Had I carefully read the owner's manual, I would have learned about this feature sooner. My best advice, read the owner's manual at least a couple times. I enjoy the ride and technology, and I'm sure you will, also. Happy Motoring, Tom
