Just picked it up Saturday. Got a 2010 V in the silver, not sure of the exact term for it, its silver. Got it for 500 below invoice, plus a 500 rebate, and 0% for 60 months. Anyways, already on to the mods. I work in the industry, and cannot leave anything alone. Today I took all the emblems off and had them painted satin black, tinted all the windows 20% and the windshield 55%, and also tinted the tail lights. Huskyliner Weatherbeaters are in, and the clear bra went on today also. Not sure if anyone knew this but Husky makes a 3m type clear bra headlight kit for the prius, it covers the fog lights and the head lights, got that installed today also. Last but not least, the Tein springs will be here Friday, along with the 10mm spacers. The five axis body kit is at the paint shop along with the rear spoiler, having it done in the factory body color as well. Last but not least, we are wrapping the wheels in matte black this week as well, I hope it turns out as well as I think. This summer I will probably throw some 19s on it, but I am dropping a ton of money on it this week, the wife says we have to wait a while before wheels, oh well. I will post pics friday once the kit is on. Thanks for looking.
Oh yea, one other thing, I noticed that K and N makes a filter for the Prius, anyone have one? Did it help anything out?
Sounds very cool! Can't wait to see your pics on Friday - looking forward to seeing the "V" wheels in matte black.
Welcome and congrats on finding your 2010 V. I too recently picked up a Black V 2011 and I love every aspect of the Adv. tech Package. Cant wait to see your completed mods.
Oh yeah, Ive been doing some searches, just havent had time to waft through the nonsense. I want to do the auto headlamps, and re-aim the headlights as well. Just need to figure out how and actually take the time to read through it. Im going to attempt to wrap the wheels tomorrow. We will see how that one goes. Im a little skep myself. Thanks for the comments. Body kit went to paint today. Trying to get it done by friday to give my wife for her birthday. Should be cool.
